A physical activity that requires skill and strength to gain a competitive edge is called a sport. Some of the sports are football, cricket, hockey, boxing, basketball, tennis etc. Every sport or game has a fixed set of rules and they need to be followed strictly, sports develop competitive spirit among the participants.

In a given sport certain actions are defined which help in deciding the outcome i.e. winner, loser, for e.g. scoring goals in football, crossing the finish line in motor sports etc. It is necessary to keep record of the scores of the game as a parameter of the outcome and to maintain a record. In a sport a win is not always guaranteed, in such a condition proper code of conduct should be maintained against the opposing team, this is called good sportsmanship.

Thanks to these channels, we can view live matches being played in India or in different a country. Sports events like soccer matches are highly popular and have large fan following worldwide. These matches are viewed by a large amount of audience on the field and off the field too on satellite television. Sporting events are a big revenue generating events.
