Society & Welfare

Society is group of individuals who are tied together for common interests and purpose. The word “society” is also known as organized voluntary association of individuals for culture, religious, political, or other purpose. Human society is well organized social network.

Each society differs from other societies in terms of faith and belief, culture, traditions, way of living, etc. In the period of Stone Age, men form a group for the purpose of hunting. When agricultural developed, men started to live in a group thus civilization took place. Social networks are mostly determined on the basis of religion. For example there are Muslim community, Hindu community, Christian community, Parsees community, and so on.

For the benefit of the community there are many welfare functions which are taken by the government or political leaders from time to time. Such welfare facilities include provision of education, hospitals, parks, infrastructural facilities, schools and colleges, etc, which help the society to advance. Indian community is mostly admired by many people around the world. There are many books, websites and articles which provides information regarding the culture and tradition of India.

Even though India is one of the developing countries of the world yet the Indian culture and tradition has its mark worldwide.
